오늘은 비슷한 듯 다른 뜻을 지닌 단어를 공부해볼거에요. 

오늘의 주인공은 바로 

go on to-v와 go on -ing  

go on to-v (무엇을 끝마친 뒤에) 이어서 ~ 을 계속하다 (change!) 

ex)

The book goes on to describe his experiences in the army

I'd like to go on to study more laguages

 

 

go on -ing 계속 ~ 하다. (no change!) 

ex) I really like this city! I'd like to go on living here for years! 

 

If you go on practising your English, you'll go on to be even better than you are now!
